This is a compiling of resources I recommend. I have reviewed a lot of homeschool products and I am a curriculum junky. I have helped many families get started in homeschooling and if you have any questions or need direction, you can let me know in the comments. I will answer as soon as I can.
Some of these links may be affiliate links. If it is I will try to let you know. I am not an affiliate for a lot of sites. I like to recommend things because I like the products or the vendor and what they stand for. Click the name of the vendor or the button to go to their site.
Thank You! May you be blessed in your homeschooling adventure.
Homeschool Legal Defense Association. Your lawyers fighting for homeschool freedom.
Homeschool Buyers Co-op. A great site for getting discounts on your curriculum.
Homeschool Planet (affiliate link) is an online planner subscription, available only through Homeschool Buyers Co-op, that I am currently using and absolutely love. It has many great features including the ability to send a text of your to do list or other list you create. You can also reschedule your days easily with out having to erase and rewrite your assignments. Check this out if you are a planner and organizer. I don’t think you will be disappointed on this one.
CTC Math. Our current math program. Make sure your on the Homeschool side or you will see the information for non-homeschooling program.
SchoolhouseTeachers.com A great place to get great unit lessons. It is an economical subscription with loads of perks like a yearly planner from The Homeschool Magazine. I use to belong but I don’t any more. I think this site is best for those with younger students.
Homeschool Freebie of the Day is a free newsletter where they give you a free lesson, ebook, or other resource Mon-Fri and they also offer sales to purchase things on CD. I love the site and have ordered a few resources on CD that we cherish.
The Mystery of History we are currently using fast paced for our History and Geography Lessons. We are really enjoying this easy to follow curriculum that is bible based. They have lots of other resources also. I purchased mine, Volumes 1-3 and CDs with printables, through the Homeschool Buyers Co-op as a bundle.
Notgrass History Curriculum We used this several years in a row and we loved how easy it is to follow and the biblical themes. Even though we enjoyed it, we think its more topical and its harder to go deeper in the lessons with out adding to it. I think its great curriculum for families who need things more simple. The writer also has a wonderful inspirational blog you could check out. They also offer special books for art and holidays based on biblical truths.
I will add more as I have time.
