Book Review: Prayer Warrior Mom By Marla Alupoaicei

Prayer Warrior Mom

Covering Your Kids with God’s Blessings and Protection

By Marla Alupoaicei

 Publisher: Thomas Nelson

Do you sometimes feel like your prayers are not enough? Or maybe your not praying the right things? Do you think you could be praying more for your children? Or maybe your children need a more specific prayer dealing with behavior?

This book is a quick and easy read about praying for your children. This will help you pray scripture over your children and praying in the right attitude. It will also cover things you or your child may be struggling with and how to pray and over come them.

I really like to read these types of books in the format of “across the table friends sharing” and I believe this book fits the bill. I want to feel like I an speaking with the author, or rather listening to her teaching me something she is passionate about.

There are other books out there covering this same topic. You may find some of it the same and some of it different, or its just a different perspective for you. You will find prayer examples you can use as an outline for your own prayers. You will learn about standing in the gap and what it means, and how to channel or cultivate what we tend to see as negative actions in our children to a more positive outlook.

If you want to use this with a small study group, there are study questions at the end of each chapter.
Or you can answer the questions for your self in a prayer journal you are encourage to start, or another journal.
